" I cannot recall the username - she quickly switched to email - some months ago.
I have seen many obvious scams - mostly from ghanaians.
This was different - very subtle - she was very slow in her approach - building trust over a long time.
Finally I met her face to face in Sophia - again everything was done to demonstrate that she could be trusted.
When I returned to the UK - she requested that we communicate using ICQ.
She persuaded me to send her 8500€ - required quickly for a 'fantatstic bargain' - a cheap property in the Varna district - which would be purchased in her name initially ( I have no LLC ) - then transferred to my name - or so I thought.
Stupid? Naive? I sent the money.
By the time I sensed the danger - it was too late.
She says there will be no transfer of ownership - and she will not return my money.
She openly admits to me ( email ) that she has stolen my money.
I tell her that I will involve police and lawyers - she laughs - she does not worry about the police.
